Kiora
There is something about guiding a nine foot longboard through an extended arc that feels amazing. Throw some side fins on a longboard, give it some hard edge through the tail for bite and a subtle amount of curve through the entire board and you have a completely different surfing experience.”Kiora” was the name of the board rode to win my second world title in New Zealand. The possibilities of a modern longboard for me are quite vast. I have and never will have any prejudice to any form of surf-craft ever!! This three fin longboard will undoubtedly turn amazingly well in the pocket and cutback into the waves power source on a razors edge.
It is also a misconception that only the single fin log can nose ride amazingly….well this in-fact is wrong. With the three fins and a sharp edge through the tail you will hold and trim through many a steep section while riding the nose!! ‘Kiora” means hello in Maori. If you have not experienced a light three fin longboard for all the many things it offers well “Kiora”, Hello this thing is awesome!!
